Abstract: In order to break down administrative barriers in the transportation system, a large number of phenomena of transport cooperation between local governments emerge prominently. Its main areas include ports cooperation, airports cooperation, highways cooperation; main contents include traffic management information sharing, transportation management, financing and construction of transportation facilities; main types include harmonization of competition, convergence of traffic (connection), the common infrastructure facilities; mechanisms include comprehensive cooperation of local governments, cooperation in various fields among the transport sectors, etc..
