3.THE DESIGN OF NETWORK EDUCATION SUPPORTING SYSTEM BASED ON WEB 2.0
3.1.The Overall Design of the Network Education Supporting System
Network teaching supporting system realizes integrated combination with the teachers teaching, students learning and teaching management and it is a management platform integrating the application needs and the unified application of all aspects. The entire network education supporting system uses B / S mode, runs in the Windows platform and is realized commonly by the related technologies such as Dot Net, Ajax etc. The functions of the network education supporting system includes: online publishing courseware, online teaching services for teachers, online studying services for learners and online administrating services for administrators. The network education supporting system is composed of four modules which are learning module for students, teaching module for teachers, teaching resources management module, and system management module. The four modules connect and cooperate with each other to form a complete network education supporting system. The overall structure of this system is shown as Figure 1:

(1) Students learning module is designed mainly for students, including four sub-modules, which are my space, network classroom, personal learning tools, cooperation platform. The concrete composition and the detailed functions of the learning system will be introduced in the Section 3.2.
(2) Teachers teaching module is designed mainly for teachers, including six sub-modules, which are curriculum resource, real-time teaching, assignment’s disposal and correcting, online answer, examination management, space setting. This module provides with a powerful teaching environment suitable for the practice of the distant teaching and fully interactive modules, which greatly expands the scope of teaching space.
(3) Teaching resource management module provides with rich and useful teaching management functions for teaching management users. The functions of this module include: teaching information disposal and management, curriculums management, arranging curriculums management, software management, answering questions management, examination management, paper management, scores management, RSS management, blog management. Thereinto, the main function of RSS management is to classify the information students submitted and send them to the teachers, then push the update information teachers replied regularly.
(4) System management module is designed mainly for system administrator to maintain the network education supporting system. The functions of this module include: space management, user management, database management.
3.2. The Detailed Functions Design of Students Learning Module
Students learning module is the most important part of network education supporting system because the network education supporting system based on web 2.0 provides with a powerful personalized learning for students active studying. The structure of students learning module can be shown in Figure 2.
My Space: Students can modify personal information and can achieve the personality of the space using this module. The personality of space includes: settings the space’s skin, changing the space module’s arrangement sequence etc, which can be achieved using the asp.net and Ajax technology. The realization of this module will be introduced in section 4.
Network classroom: The module includes four parts which are online learning, completing assignments, online answer, and online examination. These four part’s functionis following. (1)Online learning: Students must look over teaching plan, and then select the required courses elective courses to study after logging in the system. Students can look through the curricula, teaching programs, teaching reference, courseware, etc., can also download these resources. Students can watch teachers’ teaching video and can carry out real-time classes under the teachers’ arrangements. Through the platform, students can carry through independent preparation and review of the courses, which is more convenient and flexible than traditional learning process. The module can note the students’ learning progress and mastering complexion. (2)Completing assignments: Students can complete and submit assignments through the module. After teachers correct the assignments, students can review corresponding to the teachers’ opinions. (3)Online Answer: A student's online FAQ may call the same module with teachers, but has different functions. Students can question on selected curriculum’s FAQ module, can see all questions and answers and can answer question.(4)Online Examination: Students can enter the examination in prescriptive times, and can be interrupted and resumed examination, but the examination is only once; after the examination is end, students can see about their own scores.
